Why InboxQuery exists
Gmail supports powerful search operators, but a query can become difficult to remember when it combines sender, date, message status, mailbox location, attachment type, and size. InboxQuery turns those choices into readable search text and explains the result before you use it.
The homepage provides a general Gmail Search Query Builder. Task-focused pages start with useful defaults for archived mail, unread messages, dates, senders, large messages, attachments, old mail, and missing messages.
A private browser-based tool
The query builder runs in your browser. InboxQuery does not ask for a Gmail login, OAuth access, mailbox permission, message content, contacts, or attachment uploads. The tool generates text that you can copy or open in Gmail.
Because Gmail executes the final search, InboxQuery cannot see which messages match. It also cannot mark, archive, delete, recover, or otherwise change email in your account.

- Explain generated operators in plain English.
- Validate obvious conflicts such as reversed dates and impossible size ranges.
- Keep searches local until the user chooses to open Gmail.
